Visitors To Dutch Hollow
As you can see from the photos, folks are visiting the graveyard. For the last one hundred years the site has been barely accessible by vehicle, now it is. Likewise, for the last one hundred years the graveyard itself has been unvisitable due to overgrowth, buried headstones, and the lack of pubicity about its existence. Since the cleanup has progressed, folks have visited from North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia, Idaho, and Illinois. If you have ancestors at Dutch Hollow Hanger Cemetery, plan a trip. If you wish, you will be escorted to the cemetery and any questions you have about the graveyard, those interred there, or Dutch Hollow and the surrounding area will be answered as best they can.
